He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Karle and Mary Louise Karle; and his siblings, Rosemary Weber (Willie) and Mark Karle. He is survived by: his children, Sarah, Danielle and Christopher; his siblings, Ann Hamrock (Phil), Jane Farwick (Tom), Jim (Amy), John and Joe Karle; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
