He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Callie Prater Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Griffin Dalton; and his children, Debbie Church (Dave), Jimmy Scot Dalton (Teresa), David Dalton and Susie Saunders (Paul).
