He was predeceased by: his sisters, Elaine Berg (Joseph) and Audrey Roetting (Raymond); and his mother Lillian Imhoff. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Vincent Berg, Ronald Berg, Maureen Evers (Ron), Debbie Lang (late Bill), Gary Roetting (Barb), Monica Fowler (Bob), Roxanne DeGiuseppe (Tony) and Renee Roetting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alvin's honor may be made to any charity of donor's choice.
