He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Gibbs (Tysinger) and Harry Gibbs Sr. Harry; his grandchildren, Christopher Piccone and Ashley Piccone; and his siblings, Helen Pletcher, Mable Sidwell, Gladys Bush, Mildred McHenry and Harold Gibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Gibbs (Wheeler); his children, Lori Swackhammer (Terry) of Deavertown and Harry Daniel Gibbs (Susie) of Deavertown; and his grandchildren, Daniel Gibbs of Corning, Angela Post (John) of Corning and Megan Wilson (John) of Cumberland. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
