He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harris and Mary Ella Harris (Brown); and his siblings, Alice DeBrill, Josephine Richardson, Addie Mae Lovejoy, Odessa Matthews, Lorine Ezell, Moses, Eugene, Eddie, James, Arthur and Joseph.

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Claire Lackings and JC DeBrill; and his niece Vickie Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
