He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara A. Bonds; his aunts and uncles, Wilma Parker (Napoleon), Rose Moore (Henry), Mary Bonds, Benita Mathis, Jerry, Deion Bonds and Willy Jones; his nephew Jeffery Minor; and the mother of his children LaQuana L. Haywood.
He is survived by: his parent Idris Siddiqi (Hicks); his sons, William Hicks Jr. and DaLaqun Hicks; his grandchild DaLaqun Jr.; his friend Latrice Johnson; his grandchildren, Lessie Stokes, Izear Hicks, Clyde, Melva Bonds, Da'Nya, DaLaqun and Nala Hicks; and his siblings, Kimberly, Billy, Brent (Bryant Hicks) and De'Angelo (De'Aja Bush).
