It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dillard Carpenter (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Carpenter and Lula Carpenter; his wife Faye Carpenter; and his granddaughter Amanda "Mandee" Faye Bloomer. He is survived by: his daughter Connie Bloomerand (Buddy); his granddaughter Megan; his daughter Cindy Stuck (Kent); his grandchildren, Luke (Lexi), Blake (Michelle) and Zak (Katie); his son Greg Carpenter (Barb); his grandchildren, Ashton (Ryan), Dexter (Hayley) and Cole (Brittany); his daughter Belinda Trepanier (Tim); his grandchildren, Kyle (Cassi) and Chad (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Parker, Presley, Evelyn, Walker, Annabelle, Franklin, Owen and Manning; and his siblings, Verda Carpenter, Allie Sexton (Darrell) and Ada Ballard (William). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
