With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Willa Wood of Dayton, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Willa left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Willa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Wood Sr.; her parents, Lemuel Dixon and Daisy Dixon; and her siblings, Ken Dixon, Loyle Dixon and Delores Fawbush.
She is survived by: her son Charles "Ray" Wood (Dawn); her grandson Michael Wood; and her great grandchild Caleb Wood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel (3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432).
