She was predeceased by: her parents, McKevious Black and Mary Black; her husband Willie Hodge; her daughter Arletha Black; her grandson Donovan Earnest; her siblings, Donald Arnold and Florence Jackson; and her stepsister Lowana Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Black, Rhondalean Black and Milton Black; her siblings, Marilyn Hayes, Phyllis Hamilton, Kathy Allen (William), Maxine Belk, Michael Black, Rev. Raymond Black (Janet) and Douglas Black; and her stepsister Marsha Armstrong. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
