He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ray and Adelyne Ray; and his siblings, Ann Ray and James Ray. He is survived by: his children, Tanja Crenshaw (Darrell "Skinny"), Yolanda Burney and Kevin McKee; his grandchildren, Tyrone McGee Jr. and Caylee McKee; his great grandchildren, Ayden and Tylen; his siblings, Deidra Smith, Jackie Gist, Julia Ewing of Dayton and John F Ray of California; the mother of his children Yvonne Weeks; and his close friends, Henry "Butch" Smith and Swede Moorman.
