He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack R. Cross and Martha E. Cross (Butt); his former wife Pamela; his son Brett Allen; and his brother Ronald Cross.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Bemmes (Tony) and Tyler; his grandchildren, Victoria and Sammy; his sisters, Jackie Trick and Emma Councilman; and also Melynda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
