She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jr. Brodnick and Emma Brodnick (Reumping); her brother Roger Brodnick; her son Stephan Graul; and her grandson Peter Leatherman.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Leatherman (Tom), Karen Fitzharris (Kevin), Jayne Henderson (Kevin), Kathy Graul, Joy Reinert (Joe) and Dan Cumming (Jenni); her grandchildren, Megan, Andy, Ryan, Jenny, Brittany, Lindsey, Michael, Matthew, Jon, Jamie, Jordan, Alex, Grace and Sam; her great grandchildren, Harper, Evelyn, Carter, Jordyn, Wyatt, Sawyer, Mason, Piper, Nash, Stockton and GiGi; and her stepdaughter Tammy Resa (Joe).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Francis of Assissi Catholic Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Shirley had two grandchildren with Cystic Fibrosis, so in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's honor to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-.
