She was predeceased by: her father James; and her daughter Linda Ridley Brown. She is survived by: her husband Laverne Ridley; her children, Vernon Ridley of Dallas, Texas and Laurie R. Ridley of Dayton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Katrese, Kodiaz, Morris Jr., Krystal, Lakeisha and Alexander; her great grandchildren, Brianah, Kamiah, Khamani, Kyndal, Makayla, Jamier, Kiajanae, Morris III, Tionne, Kihanna, Kaliyah, Jamison, Jamiela, Myles and Madalynn; her son-in-law Morris Brown Sr.; her brother-in-law Willie L. Ridley; and her friend Hazel Young.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church (2262 N Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45406). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
