He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Annie and Arnold Earnest; his great-grandparents, Oscar Lee and Minerva Hawkins; his grandparents, Horace Erving, Rachel Hawkins and Dorothy Chambers; his aunt Myesha Hawkins; and his uncle Dorian Sims.
He is survived by: his parents, Youlanda Hawkins and Shawn Hawkins Sr.; his grandmother Teresa Earnest; his aunts and uncles, Thawanna Hawkins, Terrie, Dorione Sims, Vashyra, Kimberly Earnest, Dameon Reese, William Hawkins, William Earnest and Dylon Lauderdale; his siblings, Brooke Hawkins, Fred Crenshaw Jr., RaShawn Hawkins and JayShawn Hawkins; his girlfriend Alma Brown; his children, Shawn III, A'Shawnti, MyShawn, Shawntair and Kyair; and also Troy White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc. (2107 N Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45406). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
