With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Kay Wendt of Dayton, Ohio, born in Jeffersonville, Ohio, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Kay Wendt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Young and Iva Young (McDaniel); her former husband John W. Dupre; and her siblings, Nancy, Rosa, Charles, Anna Lee (Dutch), Carolyn, Ruth, Carey and Michael.

She is survived by: her husband Stanley A. Wendt; her daughter Kristi Saathoff (Craig); her stepchildren, Alan Wendt (Lisa) and Wenddi Lowe (Doug); her grandchildren, Kristen (Josh), Derek, Cole and Jake; her stepgrandchildren, Logan, Evan and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Chloe, Sofia and Beckett.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that donations be made in memory of Sharon to the Church of Christ Disaster Response Team.
