It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald James Schlater (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on November 30, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Schlater and Julius Schlater. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Schlater; his sons, Michael Schlater (Maria) and Steven Schlater (Amy); his siblings, Patricia Hickey (James), Tom Schlater, Beverly Scheper (Jerry) and Bill Schlater (Barbara); his grandchildren, Michael, David, Isabelle and Andrew Schlater; and his nieces and nephews, Ron and Mary Ann.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their excellent care and would like donations in Ron's name to be directed to the organization at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, in lieu of flowers.
