He was predeceased by: his father Charlie J. Sly Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Verper L. Sly; his wife Renee'Lawson; his children, Dashawnda Wheaton, Brandon McClain, Troy Sly, Alexus Sly, Jeven Sly and Janese Walker; his siblings, Janice Kemp-Dennis, Wanda Sly-Watson, Michelle Sanders (Todd), Charlie Sly III (Josephine) and Scotty Sly Sr.; and his close friends, Jesse "Pops" Brown, Thomas "Uncle Tommy" Montgomery, Sylvester Roberts, Erik Wilson, Eric "Easy" Stinson, Quincy Pope and Hubert Hill. He is also survived by other family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc. (2107 N Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45406). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
