He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Robert "Bob" and Charlotte Hoff (Thompson); his former wives, Judith "Judy" Hoff and Linda Hoff; his sister Carolyn Stamm; and his brother-in-law Walt Shinn.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wilson (Argabright); his children, Darren Hoff, Brian Hoff (Paula), Kristin Brown (James) and Megan Ray (Steve); his daughter-in-law Wendy Ricks Hoff; his siblings-in-law, Don Stamm and Cindy Shinn; his grandchildren, Cameron Irwin (Deepika), Jimmy Brown (Michaela), Alaina Hoff, Julia Hoff, Salem Hoff, Hannah Hoff, Alyssa Ray, Brandon Ray and Nathan Ray; his nephew Blake Stamm (Melissa); and his niece Amanda Adams (Ryan). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
