He was predeceased by: his parents, Rignal W. Duncan and Helen Duncan (Taft); and his pet Gen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Duncan; his children, Kelly Duncan (Elmer Paredes), Rignal "Trip" Duncan III (Kami), Scott Duncan and Lindsey Duncan (Robert Hoover); and his grandsons, Jackson Duncan and Rignal "Wiley" Duncan IV. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
