We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2019, at the age of 89, Miriam Stroede (Dayton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Preston and Matilda Preston (Ricketts); her husband Oscar Stroede; her daughter Crystal; and her daughter-in-law Katherine.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Thomas (Ray), Gail Klein (Bruce), Glinda Leiter (Bruce), Oscar Stroede III (Tammy), Gary Stroede (Kimberly) and Ginger Redman (Robert); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert), Amanda (Adam), Alicia, Michelle (Christopher), Jack, Phoebe, Oscar IV, Harold (Jessica) and Rachel; and her sisters, Lucy Nee and Myrtle Humphries. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Miriam's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
