He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Buchanan and Betty Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Tracy; his children, Carly and Andrew; his brother Mark Buchanan; and his aunt Bonnie Coffey of Troy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory (5555 Philadelphia Dr, Dayton, OH 45415). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
