She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph; her siblings, Lucille Lewis (Len), Ruth Keller (Chip), Irene Fischer (Carl) and Urban Schwindeman (Charlotte); and her granddaughter Stephanie Sigler.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Franklin (late Larry), Sharon Sigler (John) and Ron Brinkman (Shelley); her grandchildren, Todd Franklin (Beth), Stacia Franklin, Brock Sigler (Kellie), Heidi Godby (Josh), Drew Brinkman (Noelle), Shannon Brinkman and Lauren Allen; and her great grandchildren, Kaelan, Eliana, Mason, Kennedee, Rylee, Max, Hunter, Arya, Ainsley, Zeke, Luke and Josh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
