With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maggie J. Parks (Dayton, Ohio), born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Dunson and Sallie Dunson; her husband Charles Parks; her son Charles Parks Jr.; and her siblings, Nellie, Bill E. and Paul.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Lyons and Fred Dunson; her grandson Lillard Parks (Donna); and her great grandchildren, Mia Parks and Myles Parks. She is also survived by Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (380 S Broadway St, Dayton, OH 45402). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the West Memory Gardens Cemetery (6722 Hemple Rd, Moraine, OH 45439).
