She was predeceased by: her son James Phelps Jr.; her parents, Roy Baker and Bessie Baker; her husband James Phelps Sr.; and her siblings, Jack Baker, Alex Baker, Juanita Hollars, Margaret Baker, Ann Webb, Helen Coomer and Pearl Carrender.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, James Phelps III (Shawna), Shannon McGuire (Brian) and Lacey Madison. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
