It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Meixner (Dayton, Ohio), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Richard, Dorothy Moorman, D'Arcy and Teresa Hunter; her aunt Joan; and her father-in-law Jim.

She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Ari and Carly; her son-in-law Alek; her grandchildren, Leo, Jack and Mae; her sisters, Karen and Jennifer (Ken); her parents, Dick Moorman and Connie Moorman; her mother-in-law Mary Meixner; and also, Becky (Greg), Kate (David), Jen (Tom) and John (Donna).

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home - Wayne Ave (1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton, OH 45410). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (411 E 2nd St, Dayton, OH 45402). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Dr, Dayton, OH 45409).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Kevin and Mya Wagoner Scholarship for Performing Arts at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, 505 South Ludlow Street, Dayton, Ohio.
