Julie P. Gilvary Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie P. Gilvary (Dayton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pflaum and Julia Pflaum; her husband James J. Gilvary; her brothers, George Pflaum and Rick Pflaum; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Pflaum, Ruth Pflaum Kelly and Tom Gnuse.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Bush, Claire Chick (Phil) and Joe Gilvary (Genevieve); her grandchildren, Beth Curtis, Kristina Janes, Ben Sanders, Julia Chick, John Chick (Anna Surrey), Caroline Chick, James Gilvary and Abaigeal Gilvary; and her siblings, Bill Pflaum of Menlo Park, CA and Jeanne Pflaum Gnuse of New Canaan, CT.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Church (1322 Brown St, Dayton, OH 45409). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
