She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Collins; her parents, John Pierce and Valta Pierce; her children, John, Ken Collins and Judy Collins; and her siblings, James "Sonny" Pierce, Donald Pierce and Bobbie Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Collins, Joyce Copenhaver (Jeff) and Gary Collins (Joie); and her grandchildren, Doug Copenhaver (Katy), Gary B. Collins (Stephanie), Daniel Collins (Dolores), Amanda Copenhaver, Neil Collins (Samantha) and Shelley Collins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nita's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
