He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Guth and Harriett Guth (Strowbridge); his wife Shirley Guth; and his sisters, Shirley Drake and Virginia Gallagher.
He is survived by: his brother Thomas Guth; his son Joseph M. Guth; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Kaylee and Kyle. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
