He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Gilliland; and his parents, Joe Gilliland and Lillian Gilliland. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Nicol (Mike), Diane Katterheinrich (Mark) and Linda Sherwood (Curtis); his grandchildren, Jennifer Katterheinrich, Melissa Odenweller (Michael), Jessica Diesbourg (Remi), Michelle Long (Matt), Julia Doss (Derek) and Clement Sherwood; and his great grandchildren, Lola, Norah Mohamed, Sawyer, Sutton Odenweller, Madeline, Emma Diesbourg, Jaxon, Zoey Long and Lily Doss.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Centerville-Washington Township Cemetery.
Clem was honored as a veteran with an Honor Flight to Washington DC in 2014, so, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Honor Flight Dayton.
