It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph C. Walton Jr. (Dayton, Ohio), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cephus Walton Sr. and Doris Mae Petty Walton; and his siblings, Ronald, Darnell and Don.

He is survived by: his daughter Nommo Zuri Branch Donald; his grandchildren, Amare Hill and Z'Mya Donald; his significant other Kwajalyn R. Moore; his partner's children, Irving Wood III (Yvonne), Kwajalyn D Flowers, Stephanie Flowers, Lovell Flucas, Victor Flowers and Victoria McCullum (Andrew); his siblings, Andrea Marie Cater (James), Linda Lavelle Dykes, James Mervin Walton (Deenah) and Tammy Walton Elliott (Paul); and also, Irving IV, Iesha, Qjuan, Ta'Myah, Lermont, Ruben, Iseaha, Dior, La'el and Leilani. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
