With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Jeanne Bailey of Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew L., Sr. and Mildred L. Vanderhorst (Brunett); her siblings, Gayle A. Vanderhorst and Thomas E. Vanderhorst, Sr.; and her brother-in-law John R. Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, James (Joan Bailey), Charlene Fox and Darlene (Dean Lucas); her siblings, Marilyn Vanderhorst, Kathleen Sanders, Skip (Carolyn Vanderhorst) and Bob (Denise Vanderhorst); her grandchildren, Rachael L. Fox, Stephanie M. Fox (Daniel Thompson), Daniel P. Fox (Timber Banes), Corey A. Bailey (Lauren) and Collin A. Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Emma Thompson, Adalyn and Sophia Bailey. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel (3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (5100 Burkhardt Rd, Riverside, OH 45431).
