With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet M. Hicks (Dayton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janet had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janet may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Hicks; and her son Billy Hicks. She is survived by: her son Larry Hicks (Melissa); her daughter-in-law Lisa Hicks; and her siblings, Joyce Douglas (Phil) and Joe Moore (Darlene). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tobias Funeral Home (5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
