He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Brooks and Ethel Brooks (Hoop); his daughter Tonia Huffman; and his siblings, Randy Brooks and Cathy Stall.
He is survived by: his wife Belle Hoop (Rudd); and his children, Todd Hoop, Tamie Hartman (Mike) of Dayton and Traci DuChesne (Seth Fuduloff) of Dayton. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and his fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (119 Rarden Rd, Peebles, OH 45660). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
