James Deime Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Deime (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deime and Margaret Deime; his brother John Jr.; his sister-in-law Judy Deime; and his close friend Paul Lammert.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Schlegel (Ann); his children, Karen and Michael (Jessica); his granddaughter Sofie; and also, Bella and Emma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home (5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45440). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459). A Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Men's Club. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Dr, Dayton, OH 45409). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim's memory to St. Francis of Assisi Church or the Knights of Columbus.
