It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ima Jean Podiak (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel E. Morrow and Ruth E. Morrow; her husband Robert J. "Bob" Podiak; her children, William Edward and Susan Elizabeth Wolf (Podiak); and her great grandchild Gavin Merrill.
She is survived by: her brothers, Norman Morrow and Richard Morrow; her children, Rob, Jim, Cathy, Tom, Michael, Nancy (Bryan Link), Dick and Bonny (Morgan); and her grandchildren, Stacy Potter, Matt Podiak, Jessica Bosak, Andy Baker, Vincent Baker, Caitlin Bentzen, Amanda Holmes, Tony Wolf, Megan Baxter, Daniel Podiak, Emily Podiak, Linda Podiak, Jacqueline Sorrell, Claire Podiak and Molly Podiak. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home (5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45440). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ima Jean's name to St. Vincent dePaul Society District Council of Dayton Ohio Inc.
