He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa "Teri" Mendenhall; and his parents, Hilbert Mendenhall Sr. and Nellie Mendenhall. He is survived by: his wife Lucille "Lucy" Mendenhall; his daughter Susan Morrissey (Mike); his grandchildren, Mike Mendenhall, Lisa Morrissey, Amy Morrissey (Dan Holsey), Matt Neidert, Christine McIntosh and Jessica Hipp (Devin Hipp); his great grandchildren, Liam York, Madeline York, Luke McIntosh, Elane McIntosh, Caleb Hipp, Anna Hipp and Finley Hipp; and his siblings, Nellie "Betty" Ravetto, Doris Hicks, Danny Mendenhall and Kenny Mendenhall. He is also survived by family but also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Mt Zion Shoup Cemetery (27 S Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek Township, OH 45440).
