She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Elswick and Gracie Elswick; her sons, Roger Butcher, Jr and Steve William Butcher; and her brothers, Roy, Troy, Jim and Donnie.

She is survived by: her husband Roger; her son Jerry Butcher; and her siblings, Gertrude, Faye and Roger. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
