Gary E. Downs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary E. Downs of Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. and Mary L. Downs (Hall); and his brother Larry Downs. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Downs of Madison and Jonathan Downs of Norfolk, Virginia; and his sister Darlene Smith (Tim) of Piqua. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery - North Lewisburg (5900 Gilbert Rd, North Lewisburg, OH 43060).
