He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Parsons and Victory Parsons (Lorraine); his wife LaVonne K Parsons (Stump); his brother Larry Parsons (Geneva); his children, Cheryl Wheeler (Mark), Robert Parsons (Sherry), Gary Parsons, Greg Parsons (Karla) and Jeff Parsons (Carol); his brothers, Phil Parsons (Gale), Richard Parsons (Linda) and Doug Parsons (J. J.); and his close friend Marianne Brown. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or The Parkinson's Foundation.
