He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Pearson; his daughter Nancy Tooley; his son-in-law Mike Tooley of Centerville; and his grandchildren, Heather Tooley, Megan Procuniar (Steve) and Christopher Tooley (Emily). He was also cherished by 7 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ernest's memory.
