He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Sr. and Margaret; his son Trent Davis; and his grandson Steven Michael Emerson. He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Scott (April Pate) and Jolene "Jodi" (Ronald Decker II); and his grandchildren, Amanda Collins (Jeff), Brittany Pate, Nicholas Decker (Katie), Ty Shyers, John Pate, Belinda Pate, Jacob Decker, Ronald III, Lauren, Jaycen, James and Jaxson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moraine City First Church of God (5867 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Heritage Hills Memory Gardens (7370 OH-48, Springboro, OH 45066).
Bud's academic journey began at Franklin High School, where he was recognized in the Hall of Fame for his contributions to basketball.
