He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Scott (April Pate) and Jolene "Jodi" (Ronald Decker II); and his grandchildren, Amanda Collins (Jeff), Brittany Pate, Nicholas Decker (Katie), Ty Shyers, John Pate, Belinda Pate, Jacob Decker, Ronald III, Lauren, Jaycen, James and Jaxson.
Bud's academic journey began at Franklin High School, where he was recognized in the Hall of Fame for his contributions to basketball.
