He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Parrish, and Harris Parrish, Sr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna, Rosetta Parrish and Patricia Spence (Tyrone); his sons, Jamal Gist, Elijah Griffin and Christian Parrish; and his brothers, Levi Smith and Tayvion White.
