He was predeceased by : his parents, Colonel Ora W. Roof and Marjorie Wingerter Roof. He is survived by : his children, Christina Marie Roof and Eric Nicholas Roof (Shannon); his wife Toni M. Roof; his grandchildren, Alaina and Henry Roof; and his brothers, David W. Roof (Birdie), Gary E. Roof (Douglas) and Craig L. Roof.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel (5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
