He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Waker and Mary Waker; and his siblings, Ray, Clem and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Bride; and his children, Andy (Shirley), Ed (Vicki), Doug, Jenny, Susie Mattingly (Dave) and Amy Blount (Gene). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home - Wayne Ave (1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton, OH 45410). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (5100 Burkhardt Rd, Riverside, OH 45431). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Dr, Dayton, OH 45409). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
