He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his daughter Megan Colleen; his brothers, Jack and Bill; his granddaughter Rachel Youens; and his son-in-law Lorn Frazier.

He is survived by: his children, Donald, Jr. (Sylvia), Dawn Frazier, Deborah (Robert Youens), Erin (Brad Klingler), Sean (Patti) and Shannon (Margaret); his grandchildren, Megan (Trent Salch), Colyn (Victor Bezanilla), Lauren Lee (Chauncey Joyce) and John (Kelli Rockwell); his brothers, Kent, Grant Barrett and Bentley Barrett; his great grandchildren, Brent Salem, Kylie, Grady Salch, Claire, Camille Bezanilla, Malachi Vermillion, Lena Joyce, Hudson and Nolan Rockwell; and his brothers, Tom and Dick.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Incarnation School.
