She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Parson and Mable Parson; her husband Johnnie Hall; her daughter Latonya Parson; and her siblings, Cora McCorkle, James Parson, Sr., Sylvester Burke and Willie Parson, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Lutrena Draper (Ted), Edward (Carmen) and Ronnie Parson; and her close friend George Thompson. She is also survived by grandchildren, (2) sisters, (3) brothers.
