He is survived by: his father Norman Hurst; his stepfather Richard Denlinger; his wife Jeannie; his children, Gavin Short, Tyler Gilbert and Kaley Gilbert (Jacob Carter); his grandchildren, Brantley, Grayson, Leo and Nadia; and his siblings, David Denlinger (Joanna) and Kimberly Croake (Mike).
