He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blanton and Mattie Belle Blanton; his daughter Rhiannon Blanton; and his significant other Vicki McIntosh. He is survived by: his son David Blanton; his grandchildren, Kirsten, David and Ryan Blanton; his great grandchildren, Colt Glass, Cade Blanton and Grady Purdy; his siblings, Mary, Jim T., Glenn and Roy Blanton; and his girlfriend Shirley Criswell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
