It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charley J. Phipps (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phipps and Mamie Phipps; and his wife Margie Phipps. He is survived by: his daughters, Leona Robinette, Sherry Lewis (John), Evelyn Ashley (James) and Christie Brown; his grandchildren, Amanda, Ted III, Derrick, Logan, Ryan, Sarah, James, Jeremy and Kaylah; his great grandchildren, Nic, Piper, Kara, Leo, Nora, Mya, Molly, Ellery, Lane, Nellie, Vernon, Sophia and Jayci; and his pet Timmy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
