He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sprauer and Mary Margaret Sprauer (Helmig); and his siblings, Rolland, Joseph, William Sprauer, Eileen Houser, Marie Shanesy, Margaret Jutte and Louise Hausfeld.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sprauer (Wyrick); his children, David Sprauer (Cindy), Daniel Sprauer (Patricia), Steven Sprauer (Heather) and Kathryn Swain (Ty); his grandchildren, Nicole Vermeersch (Joe), Laura Burns (Jacob), Scott, Michael Sprauer, Ivan, Scarlett Takacs, Zachary, Nathan and Jakob Swain; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Sprauer and Sarah (Stephen).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (411 E 2nd St, Dayton, OH 45402). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Pyrmont Cemetery (15010 School House Rd, Brookville, OH 45309).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the favorite charity of one's choice.
